Inter-Faction combat is a big part of the Type Soul experience. In this, my Type Soul Raids guide, I’ll walk you through the many forms it comes in, and the rewards you can earn by taking part.

Type Soul is an Action RPG on the Roblox platform. Inspired by the world and characters of popular anime series Bleach, it lets you choose between the Quincys, Soul Reapers, Arrancars, and Hollows: four rival Factions. This decision comes into play in the game’s PvP modes, including its action-packed Raids. In this guide, I’ll teach you all there is to know about them.

You can get started in Type Soul via Roblox now. For more on the game, check out our Type Soul Full Res guide and our Type Soul Clan tier list.

Complete Type Soul Raids Guide

In this guide, I’ll break down the different types of Raids available in Type Soul, and the rewards you can get for winning them.

Faction Raids

Faction Raids can take place anywhere on the server, provided certain conditions are met. For a Faction Raid to start, there needs to be 5 players of your Faction, and 5 players from another Faction, present at the same time. The game will check for these conditions every 40 minutes, and if they’re met, a Faction Raid will start. You’ll be notified, and given 60 seconds to prepare.

Faction Raids come in three distinct flavours. The kind you’ll get is random each time.

  1. Conquest – A Raid where you and your Faction need to capture key points around the map in order to generate points. The first Faction to 800 points, or the Faction with the most points when time runs out, wins.
  2. Art of the Soul – A straightforward Team Deathmatch-style Raid. Every player has two lives, and the Faction that completely eliminates the opposing Faction first wins the Raid.
  3. Gladiators – A deathmatch mode set in a gladiatorial arena. Rather than a free-for-all, this mode pits pairs of players from each Faction against each other, subbing in others from their Faction to replace fallen players. The last Faction standing wins!

Karakura Raids

Karakura Raids are Raids that take place specifically in Karakura Town. The requirements are similar to those of Faction Raids: at least 3 players from your Faction, and 3 from an opposing Faction, must be present in Karakura Town for a Karakura Raid to begin.

There are 3 different types of Karakura Raid, chosen randomly each time.

  1. King of the Hill – A Raid type where your Faction needs to capture a key point on the map. Unlike Conquest Raids, your Faction wins a King of the Hill Raid as soon as they capture the point 100%.
  2. Team Deathmatch – Does what it says on the tin. The first team to rack up 30 kills in a free-for-all Karakura deathmatch wins the Raid.
  3. Capture the Flag – A multiplayer classic. Your Faction needs to collect and return 3 enemy flags in order to win in this Raid type.

Raid Rewards

So those are all the types of Raids, but what can you get for winning them? Each time your Faction succeeds in a Raid, you’ll receive an Item and an Accessory. These are randomly chosen each time from a pool of possibilities. A lot of the Items and Accessories here are excellent, such as the Hollow Box and Soul Tickets, so Raids are well worth taking on for that reason.
