Located in the depths of the fifth and final layer of Marina’s Veil lurks a beast so fierce it’s the first-ever boss in the game. In this Fisch Scylla Guide, I tell you how to defeat this fishy foe, and capture it!
Start hunting over on Roblox. For more on this update, I’ve fished up our Fisch Mariana’s Veil Bestiary Guide and Fisch Calm Zone Guide outlining the puzzle, bestiary, and location.
Fisch Scylla Guide – Boss Fight
To defeat Scylla after it spawns, gather all 3 marked white pieces of bow that spawn around the pool. During this, Scylla will projectile fireballs at the player to hinder or kill them. If you perish, you’ll teleport back to the beginning of the second puzzle inside the Veil of The Forsaken.
However, successfully grabbing the pieces and placing them in the correct formation at the top of the entrance will damage and kill the Scylla Boss. If you want a longer explanation, keep reading the next heading, otherwise, skip ahead to the ‘Catching Scylla’ section.
Long Explanation
Finding Scylla isn’t smooth sailing and requires reaching the fifth layer of Mariana’s Veil and completing the puzzles inside the Veil of The Forsaken. This begins with the challenge located south of the Calm Zone, where a crack in the wall leads to a small parkour. On the other side of the stone obby is a gate and podiums to place three required catches to unlock it. This includes the following:
- Frozen Leviathan (Secret rarity) – Found in the Challengers Deep
- Magma Leviathan (Secret rarity) – Found in the Volcanic Vents
- Crowned Anglerfish (Secret rarity) – Found in the Abyssal Zenith
On the other side resides a rainbow pool where players may fish to complete the Calm Zone collection.
The second puzzle at the back of the Calm Zone begins with four chess statues. Each one requires pushing into the correct position, indicated by a green light. Once complete, a trapdoor opens leading into the Scylla Boss Room.
Catching Scylla
Scylla hunts trigger the same as Megalodon and Kraken hunts, happening at random, but influenced by the use of Sundial Totems. When it spawns, the hunt lasts for 15 minutes, and only one player may catch it if any do at all. After all, it’s Secret in rarity, so even with an overpowered rod it isn’t a guarantee.
However, appealing to its preferences may help. The Scylla likes Shark Head bait, and that’s it! On top of its tricky encounter and lacklustre preferences, this massive fish inflicts a devastating -95% progress speed. When hunting this fish, I recommend a rod with a high weight capacity as its lowest weight on record sits at around 180,000 KG.
