Fisch Poseidon Rod Guide
The Poseidon Rod flaunts more than stats, equipping players with its stylish golden three-headed forked prong, embezzled with gems and neon. As of the Atlantis update, it’s the best rod in the game thanks to its end-game stats and generous passive abilities. But, before I get to that, here’s how you obtain it!
Poseidon’s Trial
Of the Trials found in Atlantis, this one is the most infuriating. To complete it, you must offer Poseidon 6 Sharks to be placed on pedestals across two rooms. The left room requires a Great Hammerhead Shark, Icebeard Shark, and Whale Shark. The right room requires a Great White Shark, a Ginsu Shark and an Ancient Megalodon. You read that right… Ancient Megalodon… But, once the room opens, you’ll have access to the pool to fish in and the Poseidon Rod, costing a hefty 1,555,555 C$.
Poseidon Rod Stats and Passive
Onto what makes this the best!
- Lure Speed: 50%
- Luck Boost: 165%
- Control: 0.2
- Resilience: 40%
- Max KG: 100,000
Whilst its stats speak for themselves, the passives are what truly makes this rod qualify as an end-game candidate. Its first passive includes a 25% chance to increase a fish’s value by 75% on capture. The second is a 5% chance for Poseidon’s Ghost to spawn which conjures lightning and applies both the King’s Blessing mutation to caught fish and increase their weight by 75-150%.
Both of these passives in cohesion make Poseidon’s Rod meta for money farming. You’ll earn back the money you spent on it in no time!
