Devas of Creation Life Skills Guide
As you traverse the lands of Virdis, you’ll accumulate Life Skills which influence different materials you’ll be able to harvest from areas. Levelling up your Life Skills is necessary for gathering later-game items used in Quests, and Crafting better Armour pieces and Weaponry.
Some Materials remain locked behind a level requirement and levelling up that Life Skill includes performing the actions of the Skill at your current level. For example, Crafting certain items may require a higher Crafting Skill level, so you’ll need to perform lower-grade Crafts to gain the EXP to forge better equipment.
Life Skills
Let’s get into each Life Skill and how to increase your level!
Cooking
Cooking may turn the tide in combat if you’re in a pinch and need a hearty meal to fix yourself up. Levelling up your Cooking Life Skill serves the purpose of offering Stat Buffs, Regeneration, and Special Abilities.
Crafting
The more you practice Crafting, the better the equipment you’ll create. Crafting late-game items comes at the risk of failure if your level is too low. If successful, the gear made will be more valuable in Combat and on the Market.
Fishing
Ideal for gathering Materials to cook with or to get some quick cash if you’re in a pinch. Fishing is one of the main four resource-gathering Life Skills.
Gathering
Harvest the bounty of nature such as Mushrooms to cook or sell for Essence. Gathering is one of the main four resource-gathering Life Skills.
Mining
Crack rocks with a Pickaxe (Craftable!) for minerals and Sigils, that then get recycled into stronger gear later on. Mining is one of the main four resource-gathering Life Skills.
Lumbering
Chop trees to gather wood for stronger weapons and gear crafting. Lumber is the final of the four main resource-gathering Life Skills.
